Chris McNevin (pictured) a partner in Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman who offices in Houston, Austin and Los Angeles, has become the leader of the firm’s environment, land use and natural resources practice.
McNevin, who was appointed the practice leader on May 20, says the group has 31 fulltime environmental lawyers around the country. He says the group has been around for about 50 years and includes some fairly rare practices, such as a water resources team, crisis management team and energy team.
“We’ve got a really deep and experienced group,” McNevin says.
McNevin says he joined Pillsbury after graduating from Stanford Law School in 1983.
