Blefeld (pictured), a trial attorney, says he handles antitrust and complex commercial litigation matters.
Before joining K&L Gates, he was a partner in Jackson Walker in Houston, Blefeld says. He says he joined Jackson Walker in July 2011 in Houston, where he was a partner and previously was a partner in Vinson & Elkins.
Blefeld received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992.
Monsour (pictured) focuses his practice on bankruptcy matters. He says he is national bankruptcy counsel to Sysco Corp. and also represents lenders, creditors, investment funds, debtors and others in prefiling workouts and bankruptcy cases.
Before joining K&L Gates, he was a partner in Haynes and Boone, Monsour says. He says he started his legal career as an associate with Weil Gotshal & Manges after receiving his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1989. While in law school, he was an intern for U.S. bankruptcy Judge Letitia Clark of the Southern District of Texas in Houston, Monsour says.
Monsour says he recently completed serving six years on the board for the Children’s Advocacy Center.
