Courreges says he focuses his practice on government and legislative affairs, administrative law, regulatory law and association law.
A familiar face at the Texas Capitol, Courreges says that from 1999 to 2002, he served as legislative director for then-state Rep. Jim Dunnam, D-Waco. After he graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2005, he served as the legislative director and general counsel for state Rep. Garnet Coleman, D-Houston, Courreges says.
Courreges says he began his private practice at De Leon & Washburn in Austin, remaining there for six years before he joined Hay Compere in March 2012. He says he will continue with Hay Compere as of counsel.
