Trial lawyer Tim Cleveland (pictured) has joined the litigation boutique Weisbart Springer Hayes in Austin as an associate.
“I work in a wide variety of matters in commercial litigation,” Cleveland says. That includes intellectual property matters, contractual disputes, probate-related issues, personal-injury claims, fiduciary relationships, business torts and professional malpractice.
Cleveland previously was an associate in Beck Redden, which he joined after graduating with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2006. He says he worked in Beck Redden’s Houston office and helped open that firm’s Austin office in 2011.
While in law school, he clerked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City and Beck Redden, Cleveland says.
He says Beck Redden is a firm of great lawyers but that Weisbart Springer offers him the opportunity to be “on the ground floor to help build one of the go-to litigation boutiques in Austin and the state.”
