Stephanie Dooley Nelson (pictured) has joined Hankinson LLP in Dallas as of counsel.
Nelson says she was drawn to the firm because it has “amazing lawyers who have extensive appellate experience.”
The opportunity to work with former Texas Supreme Court Justice Deborah Hankinson, the firm’s managing partner, and former 5th Court of Appeals Justice Joseph Morris, also of counsel with the firm, “was too hard to pass up,” she says.
Nelson, formerly a partner in and most recently of counsel at Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal in Dallas, says she has a long history of appeals and complex commercial litigation.
She is a 1997 cum laude graduate of Baylor Law School, where she was managing editor of the Baylor Law Review.
