Sutherland Asbill & Brennan announced Jan. 29 the promotion of eight attorneys to counsel, including one at the firm’s Houston office.
Stephanie E. Kinzel-Tapper, a member of Sutherland’s litigation practice group in Houston, says her practice focuses on complex energy and business litigation matters.
“I represent midstream and upstream oil and gas companies in a variety of disputes,” she says.
Kinzel-Tapper, a 2006 graduate of Tulane University Law School, says she served as an intern for U.S. District Judge Sara Vance of the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans during summer 2004. She says that before joining Sutherland in January 2011, she was an associate with Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston.
