Joshua M. Weaver (pictured), counsel at Polsinelli Shughart in Dallas, announced Feb. 5 that he has been board certified in health law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
“It was definitely a tough test,” Weaver says of the six-hour exam he took to obtain certification.
Weaver, a 2004 cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, says he started his legal career at the former firm of Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox in Dallas and then worked at Looper Reed & McGraw. He says he joined Polsinelli Shughart in May 2012.
Weaver says he advises health-care providers on complex operational, transactional and compliance issues.
