Face it: No one can possibly know how his or her life will turn out 10 years from now. By 2023, things may take a real turn for the worse, and you just might find yourself in the market for a good criminal-defense lawyer.
That’s reason enough to be in Dallas on March 8-9 to attend the 34th Annual Texas High School Mock Trial Competition, where 26 teams from across the state will meet argue a hypothetical criminal court case.
What better way to get a glimpse at the future of the Texas criminal defense bar by watching teams fight it out against over the admissibility of fake evidence in courthouses in across Dallas?
And, you never know, Texas’ next Richard “Racehorse” Haynes might be among these students from Booker T. Washington High School who will represent the Dallas Independent School District in the competition.
