Environmental attorney Scott D. Deatherage says he joined Gardere Wynne Sewell on Jan. 7 as a partner in the firm’s Dallas office.
Deatherage, who has practiced in Texas for 25 years, says he previously was a partner in Patton Boggs in Dallas. He says he began his legal career at Strasburger Price in Dallas following his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1987.
At Gardere, Deatherage is a member of the firm’s environmental practice group and its energy industry practice group. He says his practice focuses on environmental, energy and greenhouse regulatory matters. He also says that he does environmental reviews and reports in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other financial transactions.
