Haynes and Boone partner Purvi Patel (pictured) of Dallas is the co-chairwoman of the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2013 annual meeting scheduled for May 4-8 in Dallas.
Patel says this will be the first time INTA has held its annual meeting in Dallas. Approximately 8,000 to 10,000 people are expected to attend the meeting, she says.
“We’re excited for Dallas and for INTA,” Patel says.
Patel says she was named to the INTA board of directors in November 2012 during the association’s leadership meeting in Orlando, Fla. She says that INTA’s membership includes brand owners and trademark professionals throughout the world as well as attorneys and paralegals.
Patel says she joined Haynes and Boone in 1999. She chairs the firm’s trademark practice group.
