Veteran personal injury and medical malpractice defense attorney M. Kenneth Patterson has joined Hiersche, Hayward, Drakeley & Urbach in Addison as a shareholder.
Patterson, who joined Hiersche, Hayward on Jan. 1, says he previously was a partner in the San Antonio firm of Patterson and Wagner, which he formed with W. Richard Wagner in 1992.
“I have been a lawyer for 33 years,” Patterson says.
Patterson says that following his graduation from Baylor Law School in 1980, he spent 12 years working at Dallas’ Bailey & Williams, where he became a partner at the age of 29. He says that Hiersche, Hayward attorneys William Dixon Wiles and Kevin J. Keith practiced with him at Bailey & Williams.
His practice focuses on defending hospitals, physicians and nurses all over the state, Patterson says. He says he also has trained as a mediator.
