Fish & Richardson announced Jan. 23 the promotion of three of its Texas associates to principals.
Wasif Qureshi, a new principal in Fish & Richardson’s Houston office, says his practice focuses on patent litigation across various technical disciplines. Qureshi says he graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004 and previously was with Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He says he joined Fish & Richardson in October 2008.
His interests include representing low-income clients on a pro bono basis, Qureshi says.
Chad Walker (pictured), a new principal in Fish & Richardson’s Dallas office, says his practice focuses on patent and commercial litigation.
“I’ve spent a lot of my career doing whistleblower litigation as well,” Walker says.
Walker says he graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2005. He says that while in law school, he was a summer intern for Fish & Richardson in 2003 and 2004 and an intern for then-Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Tom Phillips in 2003.
Walker says that before joining Fish & Richardson in fall 2006, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Philip R. Martinez of the Western District of Texas in El Paso.
Britnee Reamy (pictured) also is a new principal in Fish & Richardson’s Dallas office.
