The Houston-based intellectual property firm of Ramey & Browning has announced its new location and the addition of an attorney.
Ramey & Browning managing partner William Ramey says the firm moved its offices Dec. 14 and 15. The firm now is located at 5020 Montrose Blvd., Suite 750.
“We’re very excited,” Ramey says. “It’s a great location.”
Ramey says the firm is now located in a building closer to downtown and the courts than its former office space. The building the firm moved into has a lot of lawyers in it and is in the museum district, he says.
The only problem experienced in the move, Ramey says, was with the telephone system.
Making the move with Ramey & Browning to the new office is Harry Laxton Jr. (pictured), who says he joined the firm as of counsel in early October.
Laxton, a 1991 graduate of Baylor Law School, says he is a registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a patent lawyer and also is a mediator. Prior to joining Ramey & Browning, he was an associate at Goldstein & Lipski in Houston, Laxton says.
