“I’m very excited to be working with people whom I admire highly and to be joining such an excellent firm,” Jacobsen says.
Jacobsen says she graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992, and that while in law school, she served as chief articles and notes editor for the Texas International Law Journal.
She says she moved to Gruber Hurst from the Dallas office of Vinson & Elkins, where she was a counsel.
Jacobsen says she represents business clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including antitrust claims, contract disputes, fraudulent and deceptive trade practices, environmental and energy-related matters and professional liability defense.
Her work with professional organizations includes serving as co-managing editor of “Proof,” a publication of the American Bar Association’s Trial Evidence Committee, Jacobsen says.
