The firm also has announced the promotion of Dallas associates Laci Myers and Alexandra Fernandez Stravinsky to senior attorneys.
Bowman, a 2005 graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, says he worked as an intern at a predecessor of Godwin Lewis in the summer of 2003 and 2004 and joined the firm as an associate in August 2005. He says he is primarily a commercial litigator but also does family law and other kinds of litigation.
“I have a fortunate ability to have a general litigation practice,” Bowman says.
Myers says she is a 2008 graduate of Baylor Law School and has a family law and collaborative law practice at Godwin Lewis. She says she is a founder of the Collaborative Law Professionals of North Texas.
Stravinsky, a 2007 graduate of the SMU law school, says she joined a predecessor of Godwin Lewis in 2009. She says she has a state and federal practice in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Timothy Alford, another senior attorney in Godwin Lewis’ Dallas office, also will become a shareholder in the firm on Jan. 1, 2013.
