Weil, Gotshal & Manges has announced the addition of three litigation associates in its Houston office.
Ammad Waheed (pictured), a 2012 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, says he joined the firm Oct. 15. Waheed says that while in law school he served as chairman of negotiation and mediation for The Advocate, an organization that emphasized practical lawyer skills and hosted mock trial competitions. He also says that he worked as an intern for U.S. District Judge Gray H. Miller of the Southern District of Texas in Houston during 2009.
A multilingual person, Waheed says he is fluent in German, Hindi and Urdu and conversational in Spanish.
The other new associates at Weil are Joseph W. Buoni and Sarah E. Williams.
