Greenberg Traurig announced Nov. 14 that K. Lance Anderson (pictured) has joined its Austin office as of counsel in the firm’s intellectual property and technology practice.
Anderson says he joined the firm in October after spending more than 10 years in intellectual property work at a public university system and a venture capital company.
A 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, Anderson says he ran the Texas Tech University System’s IP office in Lubbock from 2000 until 2006, when he left to join Emergent Technologies Inc. in Austin.
Anderson says it’s different but exciting to work at a firm. “Joining a great and diverse team, that’s the key,” he says.
