Newsmakers: Decker Jones associate licensed to practice

Ramsey_jake_128x175Jake L. Ramsey (pictured), a new associate at Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates in Fort Worth, says he officially got his license to practice law Nov. 12.

Ramsey, a May graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, says he joined Decker Jones in August. 

While in law school, he was the articles editor for Texas Tech Law Review, Ramsey says. He also says that he worked in the Fort Worth office of the World Affairs Council in 2008-2009.

Ramsey says his practice focuses on commercial and complex litigation. He says his areas of interest include construction law, banking and securities.
