Timothy C. “Tim” Ross has joined Andrews Myers in Houston as senior counsel. Ross’ practice focuses on the transactional and dispute resolution aspects of construction law.
Ross says he studied construction science in college and worked as a large general contractor before attending law school. “I decided I wanted to be a construction lawyer, specifically representing contractors like I used to be,” he says.
“I was one of those unique people that had the advantage of knowing exactly what I wanted to do in law school,” he says. Ross earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2006.
Ross previously was an associate with Porter Hedges. He says he joined Andrews Myers because of its emphasis in construction law.
“I represent contractors, some owners, some designers, which is very much in line with my practice at Porter Hedges,” he says. “It was advantageous to make a move to a place that could promote my practice. It’s a great opportunity and I’m thrilled to be here.”
