Carmen Elaine Eiker has joined Godwin Ronquillo’s family law litigation practice group in Dallas and Plano as a shareholder. Eiker earned her law degree from Baylor School of Law.
Eiker says she has been a family law attorney for most of her career, but she started out as an assistant district attorney to get courtroom experience. Before practicing in the Dallas area, Eiker says she was a solo in Midland.
Godwin Ronquillo has its main office in Dallas but recently opened a satellite office in Plano, Eiker says, which “will help us serve clients in North Dallas.” Eiker says she will be spending time at both offices.
Eiker says she is board certified in family law and in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with the family law group here,” Eiker says, and about the “potential to work with some of the civil law cases the firm has so I can use both areas of my specialization.”
