By now, you may have seen Austin solo Adam Reposa’s (pictured) YouTube video, in which he screams, “I AM A LAWYER” over and over while smashing a giant Chevy pickup truck into a car. And you may have wondered “What was that all about?”
So I asked Reposa to explain the video, which he says is a satirical advertisement for his criminal-defense practice.
“What happened was: I had a concept for an ad that was going to be pretty simple. I’ve shot and edited it. It was supposed to be very simple: ‘I’m Adam Repose. I am a lawyer. Don’t get in the way of my truck,’ ” he says.
But Bob Ray, the videographer Reposa hired, had other ideas and told the lawyer to “just do more and more.” So they decided to use the truck, which a client gave Reposa in exchange for legal work, in a destructive way.
“It’s expensive on gas,” Reposa says. So they rammed the pickup into a friend’s non-functional Chrysler Cirrus.
“We started ramming the car from both sides, jumping up on the hood,” which Ray posted on YouTube as an example of his work.
“Now everyone loves it,” says Reposa.

If Tarrant County someone floating around with a similar distaste for injustice.... Maybe just maybe... Judges around here might be called out on the campaign work they have certain "special" attorneys do for them. In those cases that are presented to them.... Less bias judgement with total disregard for the evidence maybe. Too many reluctant, scared of the repercussions type of attorneys live around these parts. Disadvantages.

The action also has a huge negative impact on the credit rating and would stay there for the next seven years. What is good about this though is that it provides the individual with the chance to clear their slate and start fresh.
