Those riveted by the Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearing for U.S. Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan should tune in at 3 p.m. central time today. The lead-off witness will be Kim Askew, chairwoman of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary and a partner in the Dallas office of K&L Gates. The ABA committee has given Kagan a “well qualified” rating, and Askew will explain how and why Kagan received the ABA’s highest rating.
