If you don’t already know about W. Mark Lanier’s firm and its chop-busting ability in the courtroom on behalf of plaintiffs, now you can read all about it on Facebook and MySpace (tip to the firm: nobody uses MySpace anymore.) Soon, you can friend Mark’s firm on Facebook and check its updates to see if it’s having a ham sandwich for lunch. But those pages will have a long way to go before they beat my favorite Texas lawyer on Facebook: Barry Green of Decatur’s Smith & Green. Green constantly updates his page with weird antics inside the Wise County Courthouse. Earlier today, Green updated his Facebook page with the posting: “A stranger just handed me this at the courthouse.” In the posting was a link to a picture he took of the mystery item, a bag of popcorn. One of Green’s friends replied, “[S]trange retainer!”
