Talking Vioxx

In late May, the 14th Court of Appeals reversed a $26.1 million judgment in the nation’s first Vioxx trial, finding the evidence was legally insufficient on the issue of causation. Last week, I participated in a podcast about the opinion, joined by Houston plaintiffs lawyer Tommy Fibich, a partner in Fibich, Hampton & Leebron, who has settled all of his 250 or so Vioxx suits. You can listen to the discussion here. Disclosure: It's on the Legal Talk Network, which has a partnership with ALM Media Inc., Texas Lawyer's parent company.
